The Chairman, Andrew Evans, and I are in negociations.

Somethings coming up: They have 15 state leaders, 11 are active, (we have 26, 24 are active)

They have chairman in 6 states that we do not have chairman in. That means there are 9 states where they have a state leader and so do we. The six open are heavy in the northeast and central regions...

He is contacting his leaders to let them know we are in negociations to merge, they do have the capability to raise money, they have some cash on hand, and they have a national treasurer, which I am proposing could easily become our national treasurer, a position we have needed badly, I am sure Gene would welcome the help.

They have action groups which will map to our "associations".

The National Finance Chair of the ACP might be joining the MWP in the same capacity, and 2-4 EC members will brought into the EC from the ACP.

We have built a powerpoint that outlines for ACP members why this merger makes sense and who we are. Andrew Evans is busy working with his group to get our interests inline.

Lots of quick wins lining up in this merger. We are the bigger party, and we have a stronger brand, but the influx of leaders will be a welcome windfall for us.

In which states do they have a chairperson where we do also?

AL, AR(inactive),CA,CO(inactive),CT,FL,IN ( inactive),MD,MT,NE,NH,NJ,NC,OK(inactive),RI,SC,SD,VT(inactive),DC(inactive),WV, WI


We have not begun to map these individuals to their respective states. States without a MWP its easy, in States where we have two active chairpeople we are going to see if one person would rather take a supporting role, if not then we are goign to have to make a judgement call... We have currently commuincated the merger to the ACP leaders, the next step is mapping these individuals.
