The question is ASP.NET or PHP/MySQL. For those of you that have no idea about the prior statement, ASP.NET site is typically a Microsoft (Windows) implementation, the ideal Content Management System (CMS) is DotNetNuke, which takes advantage of the Microsoft development environment and a large number of developers. PHP/MySQL is a Linux based system there are many types of CMS systems to use, Drupal has been identified as the CMS of choice for us.

ASP.NET has some advantages in that it has a robust programming environment which allows us to develop what you can imagine. PHP/MySQL is more web oriented but is limited more for web only applications. We have access to both.

Which route should we take?
